Using the service
Terms of Service
Effective August 31, 2026
1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms govern access to Announce Ready. By creating an account, joining a workspace, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 and authorized to act for the organization associated with your workspace.
2. Accounts and teams
The workspace owner controls billing, team access, and organization settings. Team members share the workspace’s usage allowances and may see or edit content according to their role. You are responsible for accurate account information, secure credentials, authorized users, and activity under your account. Notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access.
3. Trials, subscriptions, and renewal
A payment method is required to begin the 14-day trial. Unless canceled before the trial ends, the selected plan automatically converts to a paid subscription and Stripe charges the payment method on file. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Current prices, allowances, renewal timing, and material checkout terms are displayed before purchase.
You may cancel through the account billing controls or Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and access continues through that date. A scheduled switch from monthly to annual billing takes effect at the next monthly renewal without mid-cycle proration. Except where required by law or expressly stated, completed charges and unused subscription time are nonrefundable.
4. Allowances, credits, and users
Subscription communication-kit and standard graphic allowances reset on the applicable monthly allowance date and do not roll over unless the checkout offer expressly says otherwise. Purchased top-up credits are shared by the workspace and remain available while the workspace remains accessible, subject to these Terms. Team seats add access, not content or generation credits. We may correct balances affected by billing errors, fraud, reversals, or technical duplication.
One communication-kit credit creates one coordinated script, email campaign, social-caption set, and message strategy. An editable-layout graphic uses one graphic credit for each newly generated native size. A complete AI-designed graphic uses five graphic credits for each newly generated native size. Additional sizes are optional. Editing tool-added text, colors, logo placement, QR settings, or layout on an existing editable visual does not use another credit. Downloading a size that has already been generated does not use another credit.
5. Customer content and permissions
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Announce Ready and its service providers a limited license to host, copy, process, transform, and display that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service. You represent that you have permission to use every logo, photo, document, URL, reference image, name, and other item you submit, and that your use does not violate privacy, publicity, confidentiality, contract, or intellectual-property rights.
6. AI-generated material
Announce Ready is a drafting and design-assistance service. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, visually flawed, similar to existing material, or unsuitable for your audience. You must review and approve every script, email, caption, image, QR destination, date, factual statement, and legal or theological claim before publishing. We do not guarantee uniqueness, copyright eligibility, trademark clearance, accessibility, conversion results, or professional design quality for every output.
Automated design-quality checks are intended to flag likely production concerns, not to certify an image or replace a person’s final review. Church Communication Memory and Church Design DNA use directions you save, along with work you intentionally mark as a favorite or approve, to guide later drafts. Workspace owners and administrators can review, edit, or remove those saved preferences from account settings.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use Announce Ready to:
- break the law, infringe rights, impersonate others, or distribute deceptive, defamatory, hateful, abusive, or exploitative material;
- upload malware, probe security, bypass access or usage controls, automate abusive requests, resell unauthorized access, or interfere with the service;
- create repeated accounts or use another identity or payment method to obtain additional free trials improperly; or
- submit sensitive personal information that the service is not designed to process.
7.1 One-time Brand Studio services
Brand Starter, Professional Brand Guide, and Custom Logo System purchases are separate one-time services. The scope, price, delivery format, and included revision rounds shown at checkout control each order. A revision round is one consolidated request submitted through Brand Studio; unused rounds have no cash value and additional work may require a new purchase. Because production begins from your approved creative brief, completed one-time service charges are nonrefundable except where required by law or where Announce Ready cannot deliver the purchased service.
Human review is a design-quality check, not legal clearance. Logo and brand outputs may resemble existing marks and may not qualify for copyright or trademark protection. Before adopting, registering, or investing in an identity, you are responsible for appropriate name and trademark searches and for obtaining legal advice when needed.
8. Taxes and third-party services
Prices exclude applicable taxes unless checkout states otherwise. You are responsible for accurate exemption information and supporting documents. Payment processing, AI generation, email, hosting, storage, and other functions rely on third-party services. Their outages, rules, and terms may affect availability. Stripe—not Announce Ready—stores and processes payment-card details.
8.1 Team review and approval
The Team plan may let authorized members request review, comment, ask for changes, and record approval. While a current item is awaiting approval or has requested changes, Announce Ready may hold its export controls. Any later content or design edit invalidates the prior approval so the revised work can be reviewed again. Approval records identify the acting user and preserve a snapshot for workspace accountability; they do not constitute Announce Ready’s endorsement or legal clearance.
9. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or suspend access for unpaid amounts, security risks, suspected fraud, abuse, unlawful activity, or material violation of these Terms. We may terminate the service or an account when reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law. You may stop using the service and delete the account through available controls, but deletion does not erase obligations or records that must be retained by law or for legitimate fraud-prevention purposes.
10. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANNOUNCE READY IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE OR OUTPUT WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, UNIQUE, OR SUITABLE FOR A PARTICULAR RESULT.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STEPHAN KILGORE D/B/A ANNOUNCE READY WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, LOST GOODWILL, OR THE COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID ANNOUNCE READY DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some provisions may not apply to you.
12. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Stephan Kilgore d/b/a Announce Ready from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your submitted content, published material, users, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person’s rights.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to applicable consumer law, the state and federal courts serving Tarrant County, Texas have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the service. Before filing a claim, each party agrees to make a good-faith effort to resolve the matter by written notice and 30 days of direct discussion.
14. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the service changes. Material changes will be posted with a revised effective date and additional notice when appropriate. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms. Questions or legal notices may be sent to hello@announceready.com.
